Plans and billing
How much does Doko Maps cost?
Doko Maps Pro is $29 / month, with a 7-day free trial for first-time subscribers. Stripe shows the final price before you subscribe.
Is signing in free?
Yes. Signing in, following creators and reading their guides is free, and stays free. A subscription is what lets you make guides and itineraries.
Do my editors need their own plan?
No. Editors work inside your plan. You can invite up to 3 people across all your work.
What happens when my subscription ends?
Nothing is deleted, and guest links you already sent keep working. You can read everything, revoke links, make work private and delete it. Subscribe again to edit.
How do I cancel?
Open Billing, then Manage billing. Stripe handles the cancellation, and your access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
Guests and sharing
Does my guest need an account?
No. Your guest reads the trip by the guest link you send, without signing in.
Can strangers read my itinerary?
Only if you make it public. A new itinerary is private, and a public one never shows your guest's name; only the guest link does.
Can my guest see my prices?
Only the ones you choose. Prices start hidden, and you decide separately what the travel book and the itinerary show.
Can my guest change the itinerary?
No. Your guest reads it and answers you by email or WhatsApp, and you make the changes. The guest link always shows your latest version.
Does Doko Maps book hotels or take payments from guests?
No. Doko Maps plans and presents the trip. Bookings and payments stay between you, your guest and the suppliers you choose.
Your information
Does the planning assistant send my work to an AI provider?
Yes, when you use it. Your question and the itinerary or guide it works on go to OpenAI or Anthropic to prepare the answer. If you never use it, nothing is sent.
Where does place information come from?
From Google Maps. Doko Maps shows Google's attribution and refreshes place positions as Google's terms require.
Are the currency estimates exact?
No. They are reference estimates from a daily rate you save, not a bank, card or payment rate.
Does Doko Maps work offline?
Not yet. You can install it as an app, but it needs a connection to open your guides and itineraries.
Can I delete my work and my account?
Delete any guide or itinerary from its own page. To delete your account, write to [email protected].
