Cookie Policy
Doko Maps sets one cookie, to keep you signed in and protect its forms. It uses no advertising or analytics cookies.
The cookie we set
_dokomaps_session is an encrypted session cookie. It remembers that you are signed in and carries a security token that protects every form against forgery. It is set when you visit, and it is cleared when you sign out or close your browser.
Storage on your device
When your browser supports it, the Doko Maps service worker keeps the application's own files on your device, such as its styles, scripts and icons, so it opens quickly, along with a page to show when you are offline. It never stores your guides, your itineraries or any page you read.
Other services
Some pages load services that follow their own policies:
- Google Maps draws the maps from Google's servers and may use its own cookies or storage.
- Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages.
- Cloudflare, which carries our traffic, may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
Your controls
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the session cookie stops you from signing in and from sending forms.
